The United Nations has designated 2 November as International Day to End Impunity for Crimes against Journalists.This event calls on nations to condemn attacks on journalists and to bring the alleged perpetrators to justice.
this year UNESCO has launched a special campaign #TruthNever Dies
it has profiles and links to articles of murdered journalists these include: Jamal Khashoggi
Representatives of the International Federation of Journalists, the World Association of Newspapers (WAN-IFRA), the European Broadcasting Union and UNI-MEI, the organisation representing media professionals have launched an intiaitve callign for a United Nations Convention. to protect journalists
The Committee to Protect Journalists has data on journalists killed since 1992 as well as annual reports on the nature and extent of attacks on the press. Its 2018 impunity Index gives facts and figures on murders and violence against journalists. Somalia and Syria were reqarded. as the most dangerous place to be a journalist
International Press Institute also has a Death Watch list which records journalists killed in their line of work
