There are regularly quarterly bulletins of registered deaths. These include breakdowns by gender
"Provisional data show there were 10.3 suicide deaths per 100,000 people in Quarter 1 (Jan to Mar) 2019 in England, equivalent to 1,240 deaths; in Quarter 2 (Apr to June) 2019 there were 10.4 suicide deaths per 100,000 people, equivalent to 1,271 deaths". the rate for males was almost 3 times that of females.The Mental Health Foundation has interpretation of these figures and resources to support those effected.
